So if you know me, you would know that I love love love goat cheese. For Christmas I received a nice little goat cheese making kit that
I was very eager to try. I had to hunt down some goat's milk but once I
did, I immediately wanted to try making my own goat cheese!
The process was fairly simple: heat the milk to 190 degrees, add some citric acid, strain milk in a cheesecloth, put in molds, and wait. It took about 24 hours for the cheese to harden to the consistency I wanted and to develop the tangy, sweet favor.
All in all, it was a fun experiment and I definitely recommend it! It tasted great (although I may be biased..)
